With the origins of the company dating from 2008, Orchids House Farm Limited is an agriculture resource centre and a demonstration farm located 125km North of Kampala in Kikangula Village, Nakasongola District. The centre is located in the semi- arid rangelands of Nakasongola where vagaries of weather are a limiting factor towards sustainable agricultural production .
The farm sits on 700 acres fully commercial demo farm operated on sound business principles and runs programs which create positive impact in the lives of farmers and agribusinesses while generating adequate revenues to be commercially viable and sustainable . Orchids believes that the modernization of agriculture and improvement in food security in Uganda can be greatly enhanced by effective practical training, adequate dissemination of knowledge and technology, and the provision of business support services to farmers.
